Just noticed your IM. Didn't get to go, wife was still sick and I had to help babysit grand kids. Did try 600 grit wet sand and polish on boat. Looks better but will probably have to go finer for mirror shine. Compound alone was not enough.

Go to 800 then 1000 buff with perfect it 3 extra cut by 3m. will save you some time. start with a wool pad then a foam pad to finish. remember small areas you cant hardly burn the gelcoat. its a lot harder and thicker than car paint.
most any auto body supply store. Try B&T Dist. on south choctaw or alliance auto paint on tom drive. right around the corner from Front to back boat service(the trolling motor shop).
I avoid the city as much as possible, will try the paint shop on Hwy. 30
I havent been in there but they should have it. Or buy it off ebay i usually do unless I am in a hurry for the stuff.
Good deals to be had at times but gotta watch shipping cost etc. Sometimes what appears to be a good deal isnt.
