Well Kincaid did it to me again . 9lbs won the club tourn. last weekend and I couldn't buy a bite. Threw everything at them except the boat and at the end of the day I was almost aggrevated enough to sink it in that sorry a-- lake.

I hear u...I had a list of "hated lakes" at retirement (2004) but by some change in approach last year I scratched 2 off the list...man, it ain't easy...
sometimes you just gotta "think upside down" or take some chances or just fish slower than slow...maybe this year they will get back on the list but I will have an edge of confidence from last year...
I fish with 4 clubs so many events...zipped 3 times, the one thing I hate most!
2nd most hated is losing a good (3+) bass...lost 4 on a jig that really really hurt...
but we all eat that "humble pie"...
its not a sport for hotheads or sissies...that is the good part.
Its gonna get a lot better the next few weeks so hang in there!

Dude I called and they still want let you fish. It still hasn't filled back up enough to fish. They just closed the gates at the end of Jan. Going to keep calling . I want to go the last weekend of Feb. and rent a Cabin for the weekend.
