    Cat Spray

Just like is says..........A cat has gotten under my front deck and sprayed and it stinks to high heaven. Besides killing the cat (thing is i don't see it cause it comes around at night) how do i get rid of the smell. I'll have to take my front storage box out and spray down with something and rinse it out. Not sure how that will work out cause i have limited access to the bottom. Dead cats, now cat spray.......

    Re: Cat Spray (fishin couillon)

Dude, you and cats just don't have any love for each other, do ya? When I went offshore after Ike, we would go to platforms where the generator had been down for 4-7 days. First thing we did after making a damage assessment, was to clean out the fridge and freezers. A couple of charcoal briquets can do wonders to eliminate odors. I don't know how long they last (I hauled azz) but it seems to work.

Ok Alan, the briquets are in place. If that doesn't work, you will clean this chit out.

Soak a few of these in a bowl of that and serve on a plate.

Your cat problem will be solved.

    Re: Cat Spray (Basshuntr)

Update, decided to take boat out today and clean up. What i found was a live cat under the deck sitting there. It did not want to get out, so i scooped it up w/the fish net put on ground and squirted it with the water hose thinking it was going to take off. It stayed where it was. Either it was injured or was weak from staying in there for a week. I think if i would not have checked today, it would have died in there. Also the smell was piss & chit. which I got it cleaned up but it still stinks. It'll take a some airing out and some more chemicals to clean it up.

    Re: Cat Spray (Alan S)

I leave my back hatch open when i have the battery charger plugged in which is 24/7. They can access it from there or through the driver's console. Guess i'll have to start putting the cover on from now on. Thing is i need to leave the rod boxes open to let it air out and now i'm afraid that another will get in there this week.
