Ethanol Gasoline

Anyone have any problems with your outboard associated with using ethanol gasoline? Specifically a Yamaha 150 hp Carb?

I have a 150 carb and not problems. I use seafoam and the Marine Stabil ethanol treatment on my fill ups.

dont know if ethanol had anything to do with it but had to replace all my filters on my 175HPDI

Still run 100% gasoline...thank goodness...

No issues in three years of using E10 gas.

Just be sure to use a good fuel stabilizer. The new Marine Stabil works very well. I have noticed better performance using it over the regular Stabil (much smoother idle and starts easy even after sitting for a month).

And don't forget your anti-carbon additive...either Seafoam or RingFree.

Try to run Chevron with Tecron....Was told that it was the main ingredient in Ringfree...
