    Fish kills

    I been hearing bad reports on fish kills in verret, spillway and bayou black. Does anyone have any info on these rumors?

    We have them over here in Cataouatche not from salt water but from dead water.

    I have been hearing the samething. Just when fishing was getting good again in these areas after Andrew.
    2009 Nitro Z-7, Mercury 175 Pro xs, Hydraulic steering, Motorguide 82lb TM, HDS 7 w/ structure scan, Lake Insight, and Eagle 640c at console HDS 7 Lake Insight at bow networked , 3 bank charger, 6" manual Slidmaster Jackplate.

    Yep, so it looks like we'll have to head north to fish. I guess I'll have to learn to chase those pesky reds, too.

    Well if I can ever get away from work on time I plan to take a ride in the basin to check it out. A buddy of mine told me yesterday that he hasn't heard of many dead bass, mostly bream, catfish and carp.Hopefully he is right.
