I was in the Air force, but I'd rather watch the Blue Angels than the Thunderbirds any day.

Re: Blue Angels just arrived (ReelDoc)

when I was still a pup (in a scense) the T-birds came to town. I thought it was the kewlest thing I had ever saw. A while later I saw the Blue Angels and thought they were better IMO.

there is a little differnce in the 2.....the F-16's are highly manuverable and shoed there abilties when I saw them. There Ordinace is good for the size of the plane as well. However.........there's nothing like the sound of twin GE-F404 engine pushing out power although there is nothing wrong with the GE F110 in there IPE line from block 50-52 putting out almsot 30k lbs of thrust in burn on ther F-16's

I remember the Pratt & whitney engien having a lot of issues & the Chaffing of wiring issue's in the Orifianl F-16's as well.

Me too and I would rather watch the Angels anyday. I remember as a young Airman I was posted as an entry controller on the T-birds area. When the pilots came out to do pre-flight on their jets I snapped them a nice crisp salute and those jack asses never even acknowledged it.
