    Heartland Warriors Benefit Bass Tournament

Just a reminder we are now 23 days away from the 2nd annual Heartland Warriors Benefit Bass tournament at Milford Lake on Saturday September 24th. It sounds like everyone is well aware of the lake being closed right now. I spoke with Milford State Park on Tuesday and according to them they fully expect the lake to be open by the 24th. With them releasing water and cooler temps next week, seems like conditions will be right for the algae levels drop. They did take samples on Monday and the latest results will be available tommorow afternoon. With that being said, I will be sure to keep everyone updated.

Hurry up and send in your entry forms. Boat position is determined in the order that we recieve your entry fees. Looks to be another great year, with some unbelievable sponsors. This years raffle during the weigh in will feature a custom built AR-10 courtsey of D9 Firearms, and plenty of other goodies.

But most importantly we will helping Veteran Outdoors, a 501 c 3, in their mission of taking our wounded veterans on hunting and fishing trips of a lifetime.

Visit http://www.veteranoutdoors.com & http://www.backlashersofkc.com for more information. Entry forms can be printed off at http://backlashersofkc.com/htm....html

Look forward to seeing everyone there. oh...I forgot to mention $1,000 guarantee first place prize!

I was out today and there was waaaay less algae on the water then there was last weekend. Still some there, but not nearly as thick. I am sure the wind yesterday had alot to do with it also.
