Travis Perret and I had a good day, but we came up 3 ounces short with 12-8. But we were happy to catch what we did, and happy to have them all alive and kicking in that brutal heat. A/C never felt so good on the way home.

Thanks, I didn't realize who you were either. My partner was Ryan Patterson. Some of the most brutal conditions I can remember fishing in, but it was worth it. Amazing how much easier it is to concentrate the rest of the day when your partner catches a near 5 lber within the first hour.
I was worried when I saw you guys bring that bag up last, congrats to you as well.

That was some brutal heat. I spent all day Sunday recovering. After sleeping in till 11:30, I took a nap at 4:00 so I'd have the energy to go to bed that night.
That was a nice fish your partner caught. We had a near-4 first hour, so I know what you mean about fishing relaxed. I did get a little uptight when a 3-pounder broke me off though. I knew that cost us.
Mike thought we were sandbagging coming in last. Hell, we were just parked a mile away!
