    The Bite

really had a good afternoon on the rock, saturday, wish I had been fishing the whole time , but when you own a place you do have to work once in awhile , found the mother load , but had to share the area with 6 Eagles, they were really working the area , no Kevin it is not the spot where the Eagle sat in the tree 10 feet above our heads, but all 6 of them watched us as we made 4 pass over the area, guess they new the area was hot also, lots of die shad in the area, onward to 60,000

    Re: The Bite (dukhntr)

L/M I don,t try and target spots , they are not as large . but I do target them in the summer for my grandson, drop shot with a night crawler in the summer is a hot pattern, he caught 40-50 one trip last summer, that is why I go over to Purdy to my brother- inlaws pasture and flip over cow chips , my grandson can break you ,going threw 6-7 dozen night crawlers in a day , in case you are wondering (Kevin )it is not far from where we have been catching them all winter ,onward to 60,000

    Re: The Bite (John Br.)

between shell knob and baxter, jerk baits, and they were shallow less than 10 foot, had to move to the main lake cause all the coves in the area where I live have gotten dirty , since the lake came up a little, onward to 60,000

Thanks for the info Don. I am on the Kings when I can get down there. I hear it is fairly stained right now. Hope to get down there in a couple of weeks.
