What should the compression be on a 225HDPI
Mine is about 120. Most compression gauges vary. If all of your cylinders read the same, you are fine. if you have one reading several lbs lower than the rest, you know you have a problem.
How about one reading higher than others, mine are reading 118psi on 5cyl and 125 on 1 cyl? Its on an older 200
Its not normal for cylinders to fail the same. Meaning if you loose compression on several cylinders, you normally wouldn't see them drop the same amount of compression.
Checking the plugs will also show you if you have a problem with a cylinder. If one looks different than the others, it can mean you have a problem.
All my plugs look the same so I guess I won't worrie for now.
the HPDI, lower 2 cylinders are always lower in compression
