Took the day off work and decided to make another batch of deer jerky. Man it sure does smell good. I like the teriyaki flavored. I also like to rub a little brown sugar on the meat.

do you slice it or use hambuger and make the sticks??
I just slice the meat. Make sure to slice across the grain that way the jerk will be easier to eat. The slices are about a 1/4 inch thick. By the time it's done those slices are about an 18 inch thick.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
