Well the F3 Committee met last night for the last time before the big event this weekend. We packed give away bags for the soldiers. This year each soldier will have their own take home rod and reel combo courtesy of Berkley.
Boaters will make out like bandits too, I know we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 gallons of oil to give away, some boat cleaner, high end tackle and at least one custom rod. Shoud be a great event. Looking forward to seein all you guys there this weekend.

Wasn't. Was supposed to be in FL tomorrow, but plans changed and now I will be there.

Amazing how this thing grew from a good idea a couple years ago into a 100 boat event with tons of great give aways....it didn't happen by chance. A great group of volunteers beat on doors, made phone calls, and occassionally verbally beat people into submission....Some great sponsors really came through if you get a chance visist our webpage http://fishingforfreedom.us/ and support the sponsors so we can keep this thing around.....These heroes do truely appreciate it.....
I'm Sorry i won't be making the Trip, but with every thing that has happened the last couple of Month ,i just need to stay Home .. i'll go help out with a benfit dinner and raffle for my Cousin that has Pancreatie Cancer.. i got Raffle tickets for a Baretta Model 92-9 mil and 2nd prize will be a Henry Lever Action 22, Buck a piece . drawing to be held 11/19/2010
