Coming to Kansas for a visit

Mornin all, as a native son who was born in Salina I thought I would jump in and say hello. My dad was in the Air Force and many moons ago we ended up in north Louisiana, but still try to make a visit every now and then.

This trip however will not be the most relaxing for me. I am bringing my parents up to visit the aunt and uncle over Memorial Day, my uncle has been diagnosed with lung cancer and who knows how long he will be with us. So if you guys will keep us in your prayers I would appreciate the thought.

I will be staying in Salina since Kanopolis/Ellsworth does not have a thriving hotel industry! If anyone is around this weekend, shoot me an IM and maybe we can drink a coffee one morning before I head over to Kanopolis.

From what I have seen lurking around here on the Kansas board you guys have your own level of insanity not unlike those of us in Texas.
