I'm running a 23 pitch Mercury Tempest Plus 3 blade on my 2007 Champion 183/Yamaha 150Vmax carb.
I would suggest starting with that exact same prop.
what rpms are you running, and whats your top speed if i may ask?
in cooler spring/fall weather, with me and medium load I'll run around 5800 rpms, and top speed is around 63 gps. heat of summer, speed may drop a couple mph only.
That's great speed for a Champ 183/150 hp!
