stopped at Dick's 1st thing this morning,, i was back around the guns when i hear this guy say , where else u going to find a 17HMR for under 100 Bucks.. they were looking it over , 1 guy turns and hands it to me and say 95 Bucks and it's yours .. i looked it over and ask him where the paper work was at..just what i had been looking for ..something to carry in the truck all the time.. Mossberg INTL 817 17 HMR

I've been looking at one of the Savage .17s. I really want a .17 Remington or sometype of centerfire .17 though

17 Rems are bad AZZ! Very little pelt damage and will cleanly kill a yote a long way out.

17 HMR's are nice too. A bit on the lite side for a yote unless your very sure of your shot. I used to have one when they first came out. Cool little round.

killed 2 song dogs a couple of days ago with my Salvage 17HMR both were about 75 yards .. hell of a Goose , i mean crow gun

i was in Topeka,, no doubt , i'll take my savage over the 817 ,, it twice the gun and 3 times the price but for $95 it will work to carry in the truck year round
