    One call that always gets to me.

    Phone rang at 3 am. Was advised that there was a barricaded suicidal subject in grandview plaza at the new apartment complex. All we knew was he was locked in a bathroom with a loaded gun, drunk and high on cocaine. I get to the PD, get all my gear on along with everyone else, and we get the call off. Dude popped himself in the head. I've worked a ton of deaths, homicides, overdoses, baby's with SIDs, you name it. These suicides always get to me more than almost anything else. Stemmed from his wife leaving him. Not sure the age, but he was young Riley soldier.
