    Another day at the marsh.

Had Eric join us this morning. He had an appointment at 9 am, so he had to leave by 745. We had 16 at that time. He took his 5 home and we scratched out the rest by 845 to fill a 4 man limit. Fun shooting and lot of good times with family and friends. Eric's gun ate a shell and mangled it pretty bad. Glad he didn't get hurt. Also, my buddy took like 5 pics in a row quickly, so sorry bout the constipated look.

Where is your Pops boat? I don't get it? Is it to big for the water you're hunting. Is that one of the flooded marshes?

Hard to be picky when there are so many multi species around. I think there were 5 redheads and the rest were puddle ducks.

Re: Another day at the marsh. (dukhntr)

It was a fun day minus the gun issue. I still can't figure out what happened. I though maybe a wad didn't clear the barrel or something, but when I checked the barrel there was nothing. It's a gas operated autoloader, so I'm guessing a problem with the gas check? Here's a couple pics. Any of you seen anything like this?

This is not a Remington. It's an old Ithaca Model 51 that my dad got when he turned 16. I've had issues with it not cycling before, but a good cleaning usually took care of that. I've never had anything remotely similar to this happen before.
