Im sure you BBC KS guys will never get tired of my "new boater" antics!!

I learned three valuable lessons today:

    1. If the boat runs out of gas, it will not start (Gas gauges arent always accurate, mine apparently reads 1/4 tank at empty).

    2. If the boat runs out of gas, it is inevitable that your trolling motor will quit working.

    3. Marina gas is exxxxxxxxpensive. $3.24/gal today at Shady Creek. Thankfully I was within like 200 yards of the gas pumps when all of this happened. $8700 bass boat and I'm rowing it to a gas pump.

Now I gotta sort out my trolling motor problems.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Dad caught some trash fish, I honestly didn't know what it was. And one dink! Now that my double oil gas is gone I can finally start fishing some no-wake lakes with fish in them!

Well, now you know why they require you to have an oar on board. I'm sure you (like me) always wondered why when we have a trolling motor.

Plus, who can paddle a bass boat with that dinky thing? Oh, I guess you can.

I couldn't believe how tiring it was rowing! Like I said, I only went about 200 yards with no current pushing me around and it totally wore me out. I was huffing and puffing! Glad I wasn't any further out.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Well, except for my speedo. I trust that it is accurate. Can't trust that dang GPS, though.

What? You don't believe that my 150 hp tank of a Ranger doesn't do 68?

hopefully you don't have my luck...

I have had a boat for ALMOST a year now. I suggest getting extra spark plugs, fuel lines, and a new bulb. JUST IN CASE

Also...watch out for dock corners(Lake of the Ozarks) while parked- It is costing me around 1,500. $500 deductable. Already in one year...

    Always something...

Eldorado will suck everything out of a boat. Including gas and battery juice. With all the mud in the water right now, your oar had something to grab onto and give you that extra boost. But then again it was probably a drag on the hull.
