noticed a little oil on steering ram and when I got to checking it was coming from motor. Looks like the plastic breather box has 2 stroke oil dripping from it ?
I also notice the motor smokes a lot? (1st HPDI)

Check to ensure the small line is connected on the lower left side of the breather box. Mine came loose and oil dripped into the cowling. Since the oil pump change, mine smokes at idle when starting up but clears out pretty quickly.
My 2007 250 HPDI was doing the same thing. According to the tech sometimes when the breather box is put together the seam between the two halves is not complete and it will cause a leak on the bottom of the breather box. It is a warranty replacement and after mine was replaced I had no more leak.
Mine did the same as wbass. Dealer fixed it, no problems after. Bill
