    Congrats Willy

Thanks to all the Wired readers for participating in the "Killer" Dobyns Rod Contest. We shook up all the correct answers and placed the correct answers names in a hermetically sealed Mason jar and put it in our COO Todd Hammills office for safe keeping. He opened the jar and Bill Horvath of Leavenworth, Kansas was drawn as the winner of the Dobyns Rod. Congrats Bill!

Look for another Dobyns Rod to be given away soon.

    Re: Congrats Willy (Hydrilla Gorilla)

I'm guessing Bill wont know what to do with a $300 rod. Hell all of his snoopy rods put together probably didn't cost $300. Bill if you need me to break it in for you, just let me know.

    Re: Congrats Willy (Hydrilla Gorilla)

Just got a phone call from Todd Hammill (COO of WIRED2Fish) letting me know the rod is in the mail already. That's what I call GREAT support !!

Should have the rod Tuesday, just in time for next weekend at Mozingo & Smithville.

Thanks, Todd, and thanks to Bob Greene for reminding us to enter !!

    You guys are a hoot

Thanks for letting us take 2 minutes of your day each day! We do appreciate it!

For the record: it's not a mason jar - it's a Berkley hat. That baby should be worth something someday with all the winners we've pulled out of it.

Lucky SOB.......He needs to give it to me so it would get some use......He still has a worn out certificate for a free custom one from the Rod Shop that he won last year at the MSTA..........Guess the rich get richer........I thought under Obama we would start spreading the wealth around........Bill do your part and send that Dobyns my way

Willy doesn't use any rods unless he can shoot pool with it.
Send that wimpy rod to my place, I'll take it since no one else wants it
