the date has been changed again
as of the last word i got the date is April 26th now.. we're 3 week away , nothing posted, no forms, no nothing ,, what a shame our kids have to suffer.. i asked for dates 2 + months ago . so we could schedule around the youth events. and Now this
I was under the impression that the date was scheduled for April 19th. I scheduled the LBC April tourney on the 25th-26th to leave the 19th open. Additionally there's an MSTA on the 26th here, so I'm willing to bet the youth club we "support" will not get that support for boaters if the date has indeed changed. Personally I was looking forward to volunteering on the 19th, unfortunately Tournament Director duties will preclude me from volunteering on the 26th.
Have they announced anything yet? You would think that if they were going to change the date with less than a month to go that they would be contacting every Tom,Dick and Harry announcing the change...These are the types of things that causes conflicts that loses volunteers and supporters for such events.You can't change things like this that is an annual event that is depending on volunteers to run it. Schedules for other circuits are made in the fall proceeding if not earlier so that boaters know in advance what the schedule is.
Not sure what is going on here... Sure is sad for the juniors that they have to put up with flaky adults..

I not impressed with our current youth leader. I quit bass because of all the bull shit and screwing the kids around. Now they say I can can't help because I am not a member on BASS. Screw them I done with them I say we need to have our owe Tournament schedule and make it about the reasons it is supposed to be about. THE KIDS AND THE FUTURE OF BASS FISHING. I tried of BASS bullshit it is more about "The guy running the show" than is was about the kids. All bass cares about is the Money

Guys, you might try the tbf youth qualifier. check out http://www.tbfks.com I know they are looking for youth members to fish their qualifier which the top kid in each division is headed to the forrest wood cup.

Guys here's the deal,, Back in late Jan. early Feb. i contacted Brad Burns concerning the youth Qualifier and State championship dates for the 2009 season.. he replyed with April 19th BigHill for youth Qualifier and May 3rd for State Championship at Marion Co. the Reason i asked Brad for the dates was so we could adjust our schedule around his dates... Then on March 11th i contacted him again about these dates because nothing had been posted... His Reply was i'm working on it READ it on KBCFN website Soon... so on March 26th i contacted him again asking him about the dates because we were having a club meeting and i wanted to know what to tell my boys.. and his Reply was April 19th at BH and May 17th Marion Co for Championship.. then on March 29th i just happened to check my emails before leaving for youth club meeting and i got another reply from BB and he stated he had made a mistake and the dates were April 26th and May 3rd.. in several emails between me and Brad he told me that all he had to do was set the date by the date of the state meeting.. and he was sorry if he screwed us over by changing the dates 3 time.. the way it looks is the youth state qualifier is on the april 26th and i got 4 boys wanting to go ,, and beens we scheduled around his dates i need 2 boats for my boys.. we are 3 weeks away from the Tournament and still nothing has been Posted... so what are we to do.. we got alot of young men and women that want to fish the Kansas youth fishing program , and BASS and our Kansas Youth Director is making it tough on us to make this happen for them
Guys comeover and fish the TBF youth tournament being held at Olathe Lake on May 9th with entries due on April 25th. You must be a member of TBF. The entries are posted on the message board you must log in to download the rules and entry form.

Hey Melvin, If I didnt have MSTA on the 26th I would have been more than willing to come help out and provide my boat. Wish I could make it...if you ever need a boat for the youth events in the future let me know!

the rules and Entry forms are suposed to be posted tonight ,, haven't seen them yet and i'm not waiting up for them
