    Wake Baits

Do any of you guys fish them?

How fast is the retrieve and what time of year do you use them?

    Re: Wake Baits (catchatoad)

I have a couple of the RC 1.5 wake baits and one of the Excalibur ones. I haven't had any amazing results but I haven't used them very much. If you get the RC's, I'd suggest getting the 2.5 size. The 1.5 just didn't have enough weight/body and often time would glide right through the water without a wobble.

Here Im about to make fun of Ryan but I re-read your question and realize I didnt even answer any of your questions I used my wakebaits whenever I'd use topwater (June-Sept). Constant pretty quick retreive for me, I don't have the patience to go slow no mater what Im fishing

    Re: Wake Baits (bigfishingstud)

I throw them some with no amazing results.....moderate retrieve...... will usually try them when they are short striking or following topwaters......I hear it is a good bait for schoolers
