trout fishing

4 of us are leaving to go to Taneycomo trout fishing for 4 days on thursday........i can't freaking wait. We bust out the sissy sticks and 2 pound test line and catch 100 to 150 a day........a freaking ball! Once in a while we will grab the big rods and throw 5 inch rapalas and rogues for brown trout. good times!

that is a fun place to fish, you can catch them about 10 different ways and they are a hoot on 2 pound test line. kind of a nice relaxing change of pace.

we will be in a boat and we stay at trouthollow. hell of a fun trip every year.

Taneycomo does have some big ol' bass in it from what i have heard. they might even eat some of the little trout?? I chase bass all year so it's nice to have a couple of days to relax and fish with an ultralight with really light line to. it's nice to get a way also and have some steak, brew and fishing. :)

i've heard that they have some bass over 10 pounds in the lower end of that thing and i figure the bass out west eat trout so i though maybe some of these did to?
