Prairie Farms Dairy has initiated a recall of two of its ice
cream products because they have the potential to be contaminated with
Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal
infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with
weakened immune systems. The Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), a
supplier to Prairie Farms Dairy, initiated a recall of the peanut ingredient
used to make the recalled products, which is why we are conducting this
recall.

DISTRIBUTION: These ice creams are known to be sold in Alabama, Arkansas,
Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi,
Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina,
Tennessee and Virginia in retail stores.

that does not suprise me one bit.........there have been cases coming out of the woodworks now

some pople are just in a "get rich happy" mmod anymore.

hopefully they will start imposing better restrictions & inspection laws than they had before all this crap came out.

Guys, you should watch everything you eat during this peanut scare. My wife is allergic to peanuts (as well as 22 other foods that we know of) and it severely limits what she can eat. Because of this we check the label on everything we buy. Try going a day sometime without eating something that has a peanut warning in the ingredients. I bet it is a lot harder than you think. Peanuts are a very common ingredient in things that you would never expect, one example would be that there are peanuts used in many sour creams. Daisy is the only one safe for her to eat.

Until all the peanuts are recalled and the all clear is given I would be careful.

yer right................I think I remember there was like 200+ products/things that you can made from or used from Peanuts.....and has nothing to do with peanuts themsleves

scarry stuff I guess...............hopefully they will get it Isolated & go from there.

guess what.................Prices are going up again

Schwans makes Red Baron Pizza (according to the box& packaging)......we buy them at Sams all the time......does that count??
