My buddy says no smalljaws on black/blue jigs.

Yeah I have never caught a SM on a black/blue jig. Do NOT use this color at Melvern in the early spring when the water temp is around 55. Won't work. And whatever you do DO NOT use the finesse, 5/16 oz eakins type black/blue jig.

Why hop a jig slowly on the bottom when you can rip a shallow crank and tear them brown fish up Them some aggressive fish
