    Checked my Primer Bulb

My dad and I went to change the primer bulb on my boat. After loosening the clamp on the fuel line, the bulb seemed to get harder. After pumping the bulb, my dad said that it was as hard as it was supposed to be. When I went to crank the boat, it would not fire, just spin over. My dad said there looked like there was fuel on the outside of the air intakes, so we pulled the plugs and there was fuel on them. So he said it was flooded, but couldnt rule out the possibility that the plugs were fouled. So, I guess there is no chance that the bulb or the pump diaphragms are messed up, since I have too much fuel. Any advice or ideas what to check?

Re: Checked my Primer Bulb (JUST-IN-TIME)

1992 Pro V 200. Also, after I did that, and it got flooded, I let it sit for a few hours and then went back and tried to crank it, didn't choke it, and didnt pump the bulb, and it fired right up. So, any advice? Should I not pump at all, and just choke it once after it has been sitting for a week?

    you should always pump it
might need to rebuild the carbs, sounds like a weak needle in the carb bowls

When you say rebuild, are you saying pull them, soak them, blow them out?
