I dont use that particular "brand" so I cant answer well but I think there are a few BBC sponsors who have it.....IE.....C&O![]()
I though I seen that stuff at our wal-mart but I could be wrong I used seaform
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
I seen the seafoam but shit that stuff is hi $$$.... yes I know we have alot wrapped up in boat motors but as much as I have been going through it would cost me out the ass everytime I fill up.... 2 cans of seafoam is $13 and I guess I would need to put it in every fill up.... which is 3 times every trip to Grand... yikes that is alot of money. If the Stabil is good stuff and works just as well then I am game for it.
Mike..............if you think $13 is too high for that stuff then I wont bother telling you what I use in mine![]()
Check the auot stores, O'Reilly ect. i bought Seafoam there about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if they care Stabil but different auot stores may care different brands.
The Wally here has the seafoam and I may get a couple cans to get for Grand next weekend. I would like to get a little run through before it is too late.![]()
What makes marine Stabil different from regular Stabil?

Yeah, I wanna know that, too. I may have been using the wrong stuff all along!![]()
I googled it...guess I answered my own question. Was not even aware there was a different product from regular Sta-Bil.....check this link out to see the claims of "marine formula" Sta-Bil:
http://www.goldeagle.com/sta-bil/stabil_marine.htm
I guess I don't see on that particular site the difference besides the packaging? Is there something that makes it work differently in fuel for a marine motor than regular stabil would? Walmart here in town only carries regular stabil, this is why I ask.
This list pretty much points out the differences:
BEST Ethanol Problem Fighter
Extra Corrosion Protection & Fuel System Cleaning
For Optimal, Everyday Performance & Protection
Recommended to be used at Every Fill Up, Not Just for Seasonal Storage
DOUBLE the Corrosion Preventers in Regular STA-BIL
Over FOUR TIMES the Fuel System Cleaner in Regular STA-BIL
Use in ALL 2 & 4-cycle marine engines, in gasoline, gasoline/oil mixtures and ethanol blends
Also safe to use in ALL stored or infrequently driven collector cars, motorhomes, tractors, snowmobiles, motorcycles, lawnmowers and ALL outdoor power equipment.
One bottle treats up to 80 Gallons
Wal-mart has, look in the automotive section, dark greenish looking fluid in a white transparant bottle.
