I usually keep my boat up at my parents morton blding but I have it with me down in Overland Park right now. Thinking about hitting a local lake on Saturday or Sunday morning. Any reccommendations on lakes that are close and that hold some fish?? Was thinking maybe Hillsdale, but not sure, havent fished that lake in 8 yrs or so. May try Blue Springs or Jacomo or Longview...never been on them so not sure how the fishing is there.

I think Morgan will be on Hillsdale on Saturday. As far a Blue Springs, I fish it about every week, it's tough fishing. Jacomo has a hp restrictions I think it's 35hp. Longview I haven't been on it for years.
One to this about; Louisburg... I have never fished it but seen it a couple times and it sure looks like a neat little lake.
Yeah, south of Louisburg there's Middle Creek State fishing lake. Metcalf runs right into it, literally. Lots of grown up weeds around the shoreline to flip small plastics to. Caught quite a few there a month ago.
You can always come fish the hood with me at Wyco Lake.
