Are you ready? I know that I am. Just not sure that all of my gear is. I might get out this weekend. If not I know I'll be out the next week end. My stand is in the middle of a dozen White Oak's, and the acorns have just started to drop. Realy makes me hungry for backstraps!

I won't go for another couple of weeks yet. I let the farmers clear alot of the crops, let some of the leaves drop and hopefully get a freeze to kill off the dang skeeters. THEN I'll hit hit hard. I generally get about 40 days in the stand. Looking forward to it soon.

I'm going to kill a big one this weekend. Heading back to Hutch Friday. I had cameras up for the last two month and have seen a couple real good ones. I'm nt to excited about wearing orange though.

I cant wait! This is actually my first year bow hunting and i am in the same situation as you i need to get my stuff ready! Need to site in my bow and paper tune it! Been to damn busy to even think about it but i too will hopefully get out this weekend to do it!!! All i hope is that nice 10 pointer is still roaming around my backyard somewhere!!! Good luck!
