We won over Chetopa last night 50-22 I think.
Our boys played an awesome first quarter then slipped in the second. At half time it was 22-28 We dominated the second half.

I finally got some playing time off of kick off/ return squads at noseguard. I got a fumble recovery there. Then I got bounced out to defensive end where I had back-to-back sacks.

I got maybe 5 minutes of playing time, but I think I did pretty good with my limited time.

The field was crap. The grass was about 18" tall, there was 2 or 3 inches of nasty, putrid, rotten, mosquito infested water on the field underneath the grass. It was nasty. It wasnt just water, there was something else goin on under there They have a big ole mud pit now

good deal. I remember my junior year, I had like 9 fumble recoveries......We sucked though.

Good job in your game with Chetopa. You haven't seen a muddy field until you play on Maron's field today. I went by their Saturday morning and you couldn't see a bit of green grass anywhere between the 20yd line to 20 yd line.
