    Making my 115 a 130?

Looks like same bore and stroke, the only thing I have found different so far is electrical output and a slight difference in compression on one side of the block but even that is very minor? Is it just carbs????

It is the tuner, exhaust divider plate and heads.

Motor has to be pulled to change the exhaust plate ? If so I think I will leave it alone.

Powerhead has to be pulled to change the tuner.

Phase I kit and it runs with many 150s... you won't believe the punch... HP heads and tuner.

Anything Ray N says...you can bank on... he souped up a Yammy 150 rig for me about 8 years ago that screamed... no other 150 could even get in its wake.

I agree...just phase your 115. The difference between the 130-115 is about 2 mph max on top end.

Wow, just 2 mph? that makes me feel better anyway. Would love the phase kit but I'm afraid with the new hole shot I may loose the transom

What was your Top End? who did the work? And what did it cost you?

I'd appreciate this and any other information you could provide on up grading the 115...

    Thanks,

    Reggie.

I don't think it was 60mph. I remember reading the same article. I was curious as I had a 115 and was considering either repowering with a 150 or changing my 115. Seems to me they spent $5K and increased 5mph from ~45 tO ~50. I ended up repowering to a 150 it was cheaper.
