Whats worse is Payton looked like chit last night.
Just picked up Cassel this morning.
Have McNabb who went off. figured if 'the dean' was gone for the season or most of Cassel will be throwing.

thats for sure! but then again the pats still have a pretty good team without Brady

I will say the top AFC teams (Chargers, Colts & Pats) did not impress me at all. Dallas and Philadelphia looked in much more "mid-season" form.
San Diego started 1-3 last year, I just hope they can pick it up again. The O- Line and the fact 56 is even playing has me concerned (and pissed!)
The Colts will pick it up but the Pats are done IMO. They just looked "OLD" and slow.
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
and they said the cheifs werent goin to do anything good this season
