I use it, seems to work just fine, little easier than the big bar holding up the lower unit, I'll keep using it unless I find a reason not to. Not sure exactly what you're looking for with feedback. The motor can have a little tendency to turn with this setup, normally I turn the motor a little to the side the wedge is on, it seems to stay better, though I haven't had any turning cause a problem, just something I noticed, I think they also sell little spacer things that clamp on the steering rod to hold the motor in place, might be a worth while add on, but really at this point it hasn't concerned me any.

The M-Y Wedge transom saver? (macinckirk)

I keep one in the boat for a spare... would not use them for boats with a big engine and weak transom... am told weight bearing is more on the transom than tradition toter... its a great spare though and engines do tilt a lot to one side when towing, despite some trim down pressure... used the wedge for a year by itself... I also have the metal over-the-tilt pistons toter ($56)... so am over loaded with toter options.

I got one, but after one use, it looks like it has been through a war zone. The rubber end is out of shape. Is this normal????????

Yes... It will look like new forever if you dont use it. I dont care how the end looks.... It's fine.

I prefer just a tad more ground clearance than the m-y provides. It's a great idea though. The regular swivel ease transom saver allows the narrow lower unit leading edge to hit the "V" of the transom saver on rough roads.

Im using JK OUtboard Motor Jacks. The cost is similar to the M-Y Wedge and you get two (one for each piston). The for 12 bucks you can get the clips so the motor doesnt move left to right.

i have used it and yes the end will be mashed to one side however ther directions that came with it said to keep rotating it and that seems to keep the distortion down on the end
