Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
The wife and I are okay. Sounds like lots of damage on the west side of town.
Little Apple Honda had some cars flipped. Houses were leveled in that area as well. Lots of lines down. This is all according to the radio.
Radio just reported that campus was damaged as well but they didn't elaborate.
Glad you are OK... I hope Tim and Casey are OK as well.
My Aunt and Uncle live on the north west side... out by Colbert Hills.... was that area hit?
I am not sure it sounds like Applewood and Miller's Ranch additions were hit (anderson/seth child intersection area) I would imagine you should check on them.
Casey is in Olathe right now. Haven't heard from Tim though.
I checked and my relatives are ok![]()
I hope everyone else is too
That is great news. My boss is about 1/2 a mile from this area. I have just got his voicemail when I called him. I guess I will hope for the best when I go in in the morning.
I hope he is just sleeping![]()
When I spoke with my Aunt she said she couldn't even tell there was a tornado in the area but it went north of them.
Where in Manhattan does Tim live?
He was on here a couple of hours ago.

I'm good, but it was too close for comfort. Chris, not sure if you know it or not but the tornado crossed Tuttle Creek Blvd. at Allen, which is 4 blocks from my house. Luckily it had pulled up into the clouds a bit and wasn't on the ground when it crossed that big ridge. Lots of insulation/debris in the road not far from my house. West side of town took a pretty big hit, we drover over to check on a friend's house who was with me. Missed him by 3/4 of mile, know of 2 others for sure that weren't so lucky. Daylight will bring the extent of the damage, but there were a lot of fire trucks/ambulances out. Drove through campus on the way back, lots of damage around Weber hall-stop signs flattened, trees shredded, windows busted out, etc. Thank God this thing didn't stay on the ground as it cut a path right through town, the damage would've been catastrophic. It was bad, but could've been much, much worse.

Dang!! Hope my old KSU roomie is OK. He lives on the west side just off Seth Childs and not too far from Kimball Ave. Sounds liek I need to make a phone call.Sure glad it didn't do major damage to K-State - those old limestone buildings are too beautiful to lose.
