First decent keeper bass of the season.

Left work at noon today and headed home to Dodge City, decided to go fish the local college pond for some trout. Wasn't having any solid hook ups from the trout on flies so I tied on a silver and white panther martin. Was retrieving it parallel to the bank and I thought I had a big rainbow on and got it to the bank. It was about a 4 - 4 1/2 lb largemouth. Really looked healthy for all the fishing pressure and lack of forage in the pond. Was really nice having a largemouth on the line.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Kyle, we are going to need a picture to prove this one. I have seen you measure fish and a 13" turns into a 4lber.

No pic, no camera, no one to take it, you'll just have to take my word for it. That sounds like when I'm there an someone says I caught a six pounder out of there yesterday. I'm like sure ya did. Most them that fish out there don't know what the difference is between a bass and a trout, anyway.
