    how many rpms can i turn

    i have a 150 yamaha v max and i am told to run at 5500 rpm and then i see alot of guys saying there running at 5900 rpms to 6000 rpms and if this is ok i can get more speed i am turning a 25 tempest 55 to 5600 rpm right now

    It will live a very long life at 5800-5900. Dont be scared.

    5800-6000 rpm is fine.
