    leaking trim pump

I have a problem with my 1996 Yamaha pro v 175 trim pump on the left side. It is leaking from the top whenever I raise and lower my motor. I was wondering how hard it would be to change the seals in the pump. Can an average guy that is good with his hands fix it, or should I bring it to a mechanic? Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

You should be able to order just the seals needed.

Find the seal and dust seal here.
