I have been told my cdi is bad since my oil pump will not stop running once the oil reservoir on the motor is full, it continues to fill it to the point it bleeds the excess into the air box. I want to disconnect the oil system and mix the oil myself until I can swing the 700+ its going to cost to replace the cdi. I want to know if anything else is at risk with an obviously faulty cdi. The motor runs fine with the exception of continually fowling plugs due to the over oiling. My other option is to put a manual switch on the power going to the pump and I will control when it comes on and off.
Any advise other than the obvious of spending the money???
