    Coon hunting

Went last night for 2.5 hours and had five coons in five trees Dog worked extremely well for his 2nd time out alone and first time working water especially frozen water besides wednesday night. 1st tree was a slick but it may have been a den tree. Next tree couldnt find the coon so began to leave, I looked over my shoulder 1 last time and there he was. Next tree easy coon. Next tree had 2 coons camped out in it. Last tree coon went up a very large vine that led to sev trees. i tried following the vine but couldnt find the coon. Uncle decided to try following that vine one last time and sure enough up in the crotch of the tree surrounded by leaves. That dogs a keeper.

2 were really small the only reason we shot 2 was for the dog's sake working so hard but only gettin them darn den trees
if he would of treed less or got more on the outside we only woulda shot the one big one
