Truck info on the killer who shot the goose hunter

Meanwhile, deputies are still looking for a regular-sized late 1970s Ford pickup with a red cab and quarter panels and an orange bed. Stevenson says the truck was seen a few minutes before the incident and within a couple miles of the site.
The truck has a Shawnee County tag but the number hasn't been released yet.

Kid was 18 years old from americus which is near Emporia. Just graduated highschool last may. What a shame.

Accident I am guessing. They had decoys in a field and a truck stopped and probably thought they were real geese and took a shot at them and hit the guy.

why would you shot geese with a rifle
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Here is what was in the paper about the incident.

HUNTING 'INCIDENT' TURNS FATAL; DEPUTIES LOOK FOR TRUCK

    By Chuck Samples/KVOE News

An Americus man is dead after what Lyon County sheriff's deputies have called a hunting incident at Roads 310 and "D" shortly after 8 am Saturday, and deputies are looking for a pickup and four males that may have some involvement in this case.
The victim is 18-year-old Beau Arndt of 2685 Road "C" in Americus.
Deputy Pat Stevenson says further details on his death are under investigation and will not be released at this time. An autopsy is pending.
Stevenson says four males were inside, according to at least one witness. The driver was wearing braces but no other descriptions have been released.

If you have seen this truck, call the Lyon County sheriff's department at 342-5545.

Probably some kids out screwing around and made a huge mistake. Need to turn themselves in. Very bad deal.

This is turning into something way too common. This is the third death that I know of this year with similar cirumstances. I have had trucks stop and windows come down, it will spook you bad. If you guys see a truck stop on the road while you're out there, by all means make it known there are people out there.

A truck with that description shouldn't be that hard to identify, I'd think. For the boy and his family.
