Just watching the news and there was a body found floating in the lake by a fisherman. Crazy, I am going there Sunday to fish for smallies

BUTLER COUNTY, Kansas, Nov. 2, 2007 – Authorities are investigating a body found in El Dorado Lake.

A fisherman found the man's body on the north side of the lake, near the Chelsea Bridge, around 1:15 Friday afternoon.

Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy said he can't tell for sure, but the death seems to have been recent.

The victim doesn't have any identification on him. The sheriff is contacting the Wichita Police Department to check for any recent missing persons reports.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
