River Locks

I took a few pic's of the locks on the Red River last week.
For those of you that have never seen the inside of a lock here they are..

Here's a lock at Okeechobee

See many snakes in there? We chopped up a few with a machete when trying to get untied fishing the Red. They would climb right up the rope to get in the boat.

Went through some locks down on the ditch at Muskogee. Kind of interesting at first then a pain after the new wheres off.

Notice how the guy in the back of the boat in that first pic is ever so courteous as to not step on the seats?????
