Jason Baird is a ÂMaximum PerformerÂ
Johnny Starks and Rob Hague, WOW!
Wilson Lake: August 25 & 26th 2007 proved there are keeper sized bass in Wilson, despite the 'dock talk'.
Wilson Lake is on the verge of becoming a bass fishing Mecca of sorts, in Kansas. It has all the right ingredients, currently the water is still about 3 feet low, but has come up over 6 feet in the last 12 months, the massive amounts aquatic vegetation should allow for great spawns and a cover for the juvenile bass to hide and grow in. The numbers of under 15" fish is absolutely incredible.
In all Bass Tournaments someone always figures out the key pattern and Jason Baird, was the man, who had to pool all his years of fishing experience to get the upper hand on these Wiley Wilson Lake Small mouth. Using a Storm Baby Chug Bug, for 2 days; on shallow, 2 foot or lesson sandy flat banks, with scattered vegetation, Jason was able to earn the Tournament Win and 2007 "Castrol Oil" Maximum Performer Award - $500.00 Wal-Mart Card. Congratulations.
Each contestant received: 1 gallon of Castrol Oil, and a City of Russell warm welcome bag, with coupons for local establishments Not only that, but the host Hotel AmericInn, went all out! A Truly impressive set up.
