    Torque on prop nut

    Just had my prop reworked by Mark, at what torque should the nut be?

    I think Yamaha wants 40 or 55 ft lbs.... I just tighten it up as tight as a left handed Italian 16 1/2 year old girl can crank it too.

    In other works just get it tight.

    The service book says 40 ft. pounds.
