Fishng the buddy Federation circuit at Cedar Bluffs this weekend and was wondering if anybody on the board had fished it recently? I haven't fished cedar for 3 or 4 years now and don't have a clue where to start with the water being 15 feet below pool. Any help at all would be appreciated even getting around the lake and where not to run.

I fished it last Spring and it still fished somewhat similar, but it sure helps to get a little prefishing in to get used to the new water level. The timing should be getting pretty close to start C-rigging some main lake structure or probing it with Texas rig/big worm and weight. A jig has never been bad lure anytime out there, too.
Fished a tourney out there last year. Sure can get windy. I think it was blowing about 40 mph. I fished up the river as far as idiot would go and only caught a couple keepers. Mainly fished the flooded timber cause of the wind. Guys that did well fished the north shore flooded brush and grass I think.
Looks like they are getting a little more rain this AM
