    Fish Pulling Out???

Just read that they are dropping Smithville 1/2 a foot a day and will continue to pull water all weekend. In last night's Burton's T they were still in the flooded brush. Guess we will see if they start to back out come Sunday I'll start shallow and work out I guess.

    Bob,

Did you fish last night? We did have one keeper (on the first cast) and some trolling motor issues.

Jason - I'm alive.. just been traveling a bunch (Mexico saltwater fishing). Things are good around here.. How have you been? How is the fishing? I heard Blaha caught a bunch of Smallies at Wilson last week.

Re: Fish Pulling Out??? (Hydrilla Gorilla)

I heard that Smithville was about 5 feet above full pool.

Since i've never been there a really expected to fish the shallow brush with soft plastics and spinner baits.

I might have to re-adjust to thinking to something a little deeper.

    thanks for the update Bob

Mexico Saltwater fishing? I don't wanna hear it you lucky bastird. Yeah, Blaha caught a bunch, but I managed to catch a few, too.

Been doing good. I hurt my back pretty bad about a month ago, but it seems to be getting better all the time, otherwise I'm still chasing the old lady around the house.

Nope. Lifting a 400 lb woodburning fireplace insert. On the TV, if you want really big and don't wanna bust the bank, go LCD projection or DLP projection, Sony or Mitsubishi, or maybe even Samsung. I got a 1080p set, but it's not absolutely necessary. They'll go down some more before this Christmas, too.

    Re: Fish Pulling Out??? (Jiggernaut)

I agree with that.....1080p is not necessary unless you plan on wathing 1080P hi-def movies.......and that is only avail in Blueray right now......most TV's and the Digi signals are 720p and some are prodcast in 1080i but most 720p will unvert to 1080i with no probelms..............Sooner or later the'll brodcast in 1080p but I think its a bit away from that.

I dont have that much room in my house and I got a 32' LG LCD with LG 1080i upvert DVD player with dual HDMI jacks........picture is AMAZING

I'd still love ot have a TV like that someday Jason

Heck, they are cheap right now... sorry to hear about the back... Hope you heal up soon.

I think I'll go with a 1080 DLP... been looking at them for a while now. I can't do Sony.. they are too proud of their stuff for what you get.... kind of like RANGER (lead sled) LMAO !!!
