I usually use jig.....SLOW DOWN as mentioned......I'd also throw a shakey & 4" cuttail if you want to

Every time I think I have the answer the bass tend to fool me. Go with the mindset that you need to slow down, but be prepared to do what the fish dictate.

    High explosive

Been layed off for 2 days- Nasty weather both days -- Something is just wrong with that..

I'm going fishing tomorrow-- looks like the next nice day will be Sunday..

    Stay dry.

If it's raining without a cold front I dont think you need to slow down. Spinnerbait, crankbait. Fishing during the rain seems to scatter active fish, and inactive fish will school up and suspend making them very difficult to catch, so you want to cover as much water as possible to find the active fish. That being said if the rain is accompanied with a cold front then I slow WAY down. JMHO.

Re: Anybody got any suggestions for fishing ... (beetle)

most of the time i would take a rain coat with me and slow down and downsize
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
