Never had heard of it before, did a little google and looks like a pretty cool little lake.
Fished it a couple of times. It has some decent smallmouth in it and pretty good fishing at times. I know Tim and I have fished it once or twice.
Just checked KDWP website on fishing reports and it showed Woodson being 12 ft low.We need some nice spring rains to get things almost back to normal.
They drained it down last winter to do some work on the dam and we never got the rain last year to fill it back up. I haven't been over there since early dec, but I know Joel posted here awhile back that it was still about 15ft low. Should be some good fishing in years to come because the grass really grew last year up in the north end, if the water ever comes up it will make some great cover and should really help the spawn.
last time I was there is was about 15 foot low ya i a great lake no idle speed its get some water init and it will be great
