I have been using P-line flouro for about a year now with pretty good results. I had very bad luck with Vanish. Which ones work good for you?

Seaguar is the best I have found
I love Vanish and have been using it since it came out. I switched to PLine Flouroclear for this year just to try it.

I use P Line. I tried Vanish but it seems to break easy in colder weather (at least for me anyway). I'll pay the few extra bucks for good line.
Don't like the Vanish either. I have had good luck with P Line. I'm also using a co-polymer from Yo-Zuri on my spinning reels. Minimal memory and a decent price. I've only used it once but I think it's gonna be good.
I have heard good things about Seaguar and Sunline as well. Anyone tried out Sunline yet?
Vanish was the first Florocarbon i tried and i didnt like it at all
i have been using 6lb P-Line for a while now and for its lb rating its some really tough stuff and works very good for what i use it for
now i have jsut got some new stuff that has came on the market that i am going to be puttin through the workout called Vicious Florocarbon...its made by JBS fishing the same Co that makes the Mossy Oak brand line.......it is a lot cheaper than P-Line by a long shot.........i think that the P-Line i bought for 6lb was $15-16 for 250 yards i belive where the Vicious Florocarbon you can buy for about $10 so its quite a bit cheaper and the same ammount
ill let you all know what i find out on the Vicious Line
Hate to admit it, but never tried any, still using mono and braid in different applications.![]()
i'v tried BPS XPS and had good luck with it ,, Seagar was desent.. me and P-Line had a fallen out a few years back.. i've been Sufix mono for years and i'll stick with it.. going to try there braid this summer![]()
Seagar is for me....expensive but very strong and durable. Vanish and P-Line didn't hold up for me.
I'll second the nomination for BPS. I've been using it for about 3 years and had good luck with it. I tried the P-line floroclear a couple of years ago and threw it in the trash after using it a couple of times and breaking off fish. Haven't tried P-line since.
I really like vanish transition![]()

P line is ok. I never had any problems with it breaking. The problem i had with it was that the line seems to get wedged on the spool in between itself.
