This just started, when I run upwards of the 5800-5900 rpms, it 'surges, almost like the motor really wants to pull on up more. Plug dump looked good as far as the burn, but starting to wonder.... coil? pack? wire? Waiting to here from the sure enough pros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well did you hit the choke when the surge starts?
dies.................Starts fine, runs fine, but pull the rpms way up and it does it..

Is this surge a on-off snap thing or is it a up down slow thing?
Well, sorta a thing almost like it is losing fire to a plug but regains it for a split second, and then drops it again.... changed the plugs, still same deal....
You didn't work on the pack did you?
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Wize arse!But I have been wondering if the wires that we foound on the coils that were wrong that day might have messed the pack up?
Should not have but....... never say never....Need one?
